FOLK LORE.
IRISH FREE STATE ACTION. (United Press Association— Copyright) LONDON, March 9. The Irish Free State has appointed a commission to collect oral and written folk lore, authorising an expenditure of £32.50 for five years. Collectors will travel the country with machines, recording stories, songs, and old people’s recollections of Irish life, customs and! traditions.
