The weather was warm and there was a large attendance for the concluding day of the Victorian Racing Club’s autumn meeting. K. Voiti •e’s vigorous horsemanship was the chief factor in Count Ito’s victory in the O. M. Lloyd Stakes. He was loudly cheered. Count It© has now had four wins in succession. Today’s Avas his last run under the ownership of his trainer P. B. Quinlan. Sylvandale was always well placed in the Australian Cup, and had no trouble in withstanding La Trobe’s challenge. Flail finished well to beat Topical for third place. King March was a possibility at the straight entrance, but tired. Gold Trail was never dangerous. The time was only half a second outside Nadean’s Flemington record. Sylvandale is owned by Miss Lorna Doone, the first woman to win the race. Details of races are: —
