McLARNIN'S PLANS. SAN FRANCISCO, March 6. "Australia is pretty far away," Jimmy McLarnin commented at Oakland on the reported offer by the National Sporting Club (Sydney) for a fight with! Jack Carroll. His manager, "Pop'' Foster, said he had received no direct communication. He indicated that McLarnin's next fight would be in New York in May, against a suitable opponent. He did not think a trip to Australia was feasible.
