SPORTS ATTRACTIONS.
FIXTURES FOR TO-MORROW. Interest is still running high in the Ashburton County Cricket Association's competitions, although the winner in both grades is practically decided. Matches to-morrow will be played in various parts of'the County. The principal tennis fixture to-mor-row is the commencement of the MidCanterbury Lawn Tennis .Sub-Associa-tion's annual gala cup contests. Satisfactory entries have been received, and many of the matches should be jkeenly contested. The Ashburton Bowling Club will send several rinks to meet Methven at Methven. , The Ashburton Golf Club will play a four-ball bogey match during the week-end.
