N.SW, RAILWAYMEN'S WAGES. (United Press Association— Copyright.), SYDNEY, March 7,. Application of the Federal basic wage to 5000 New South Wales railway emplovees who previously had been covered by State awards was granted | )V Judge Drake-Brcckman in the Federal Arbitration Court. The Judge pointed out that the extra cost would be about £24,000 a year. Awards issued yesterday and to-day covered 20,000 employees, the total cost being £98,000 a year.
