BUILDING SOCIETY.
VACANCIES ON DIRECTORATE. THREE CANDIDATES NOMINATED Three candidates for two seats on the Board of Directors of the Ashburton Permanent Building and Investment Society had been nominated up to a Tate hour this afternoon, which was the last day on whic-ji nominations could be received.
Those nominated are Mr R. A. Collins and Colonel John Findlay, who were the retiring directors, and Dr. G. I. Miller.
It appears that a ballot among shareholders will have to be taken. It will be the first since 1919.
