RACEHORSE INJURED.
LEG BROKEN BY A BULLET.
HUNTIQUE DESTROYED

The gelding, Huntique, which won the National Hurdles last year, was found in a paddock near Waterlea racecourse yesterday with a hone of the hind leg shattered by a bullet. The animal had to be destroyed. The manner in which the injury was sustained is a mystery, but the empty shells of two 303'cartridges were found nearby.
