BYRD EXPEDITION.

SHIPS MAY CALL AT DUNEDIN. (Per Press Association). DUNEDIN, February 14. Although no definite advice has been received from Rear-Admiral R. E. Byrd, it is practically certain that the expedition ships will call at Dunedin on their way back from the Antarctic. This is supported by the fact that, a radio message received early this week by -a member of the firm! of Tapley and Company from Mr Harold June (chief of the aviation section of the expedition) stated tl\at the Jacob Ruppert and Bear of Oakland were steaming north and that Mr June expected to meet his Dunedin friends very shortly. Other private radio messages received by citizens from members of the' expedition also indicate that the ships will call at Dunedin.
