DAMAGES CLAIMED.
JUDGMENT FOR DEFENDANT. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, Nov. 12. "We find the defendant not guilty on th weight of evidence," announced the foreman of the jury in the Supreme Court to-day at the conclusion of the case in which David Syidnej; Needham, a motor-lorry builder, a minor, represented by his guardian ad litem, Arthus Samuel Needham, Government messenger, claimed £738 4s from William Taylor, a City Council employee. Judgment, therefore, went to the defendant with costs. The case resulted from a collision in Wakefield Street on May 4 between the plaintiff's motor-cycle and a motorcar driven by the defendant.'
