COMPANY INQUIRY.
TIMELY SUMMING UP. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, October 26. ■ That the report the Commission indicated a very thorough examination of problems that had needed investigation for some time was the opinion expressed by Mr E. Buchclz, chairman of the Wellington Steele Exchange and president of the Stock Exchange Association of New Zealand. He thought it Avas a timely and extremely valuable summing up of conditions relating to company promotion and kindred matters. Methods of company promotion had long needed close examination, and as far as any further work by the Commission was concerned, the Stock Exchange would be ready to give every co-operation and assistance in the direction of further safeguarding the investing public.
