THE ASHBURTON CLUB. 1934 SEASON CLOSED. The Ashburton Golf Club closed its 1934 season to-day, when weather conditions were ideal. There was a large attendance of members of both the men's and women's sections, and a mixed foursomes was played. The president (Dr. G. I. Miller) presented the trophies won during the season, as follow: — Senior championship—V. W. Russell; runner-up, L. E. Carter. Intermediate championship—J. WKeig; runner-srp, G. d'Auvergne. Junior championship—P. Harper; runner-up, R. Mulligan. Senior ringer, J. T. Smith; junior ringer, S. H. Truman; Bermaline Cup, J. W. Keig: Barnett Vase, D. M. Miller; president's trophy, P.
