RETIRED SHEEP FARMER'S WILL <Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, October 26. Generous public bequests are provided for under the will of the late Mr William Willis, who at Remuera on October 21. Mr Willis, whose estate has been sworn at less than £60,000, was a retired sheep farmer, who came to Auckland from the East Coast. The charitable bequests, the total amount of which is £6OOO, are as follows: Walapu Hospital, for providing and maintaining a tree bed and comforts for indigent people to be called the Miria Willis bed ... 1500 Salvation Army, for the upkeep of orphanages I<JUO New Zealand Institute lor the Blind ... Mr Willis, who was born in England, was an early settler on the East Coast and owned'several properties, including a station near Tokomaru Bay. Me retired from the stock business !•-> years ago.
