MURDER ALLEGED
YOUNG MAORI REMANDED. RELATIVES' ALLEGED ALTERCATION. THE OWNERSHIP OF LAND. (Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, This Day. Pnhipi Riwhi, a young Maori, was charged with the murder of Paui Henare Riwhi at Waiotemarama on September 24 and was further remanded by Mr Wyvern Wilson, S.M., this morning,, on the application of the police, to appear at Rawene on November 23. Counsel for accused consented.
The charge arises out of an alleged altercation between relatives concerning the ownership of land.
