TECHNICAL SCHOOL
REPRESENTATIVE OF EMPLOYERS.
ELECTION THIS EVENING. An election of one member of the Ashburton Technical High School Board to represent the employers of the Ashburton district will be held at the School at 7.30 o’clock this evening. Nomination of candidates for the position will bo given verbally at the time of the meeting of employers. Under the regulations, tlie interpretation of “employer” eliminates professional mem, that is, lawyers, dentists, doctors. Those who have a, vote are drapers, grocers, milkmen; managers of branch stores and factories, and other employers in industries located within a radius of five miles of Ashburton. . The declaration of the polling for three representatives of parents will be made this evening.
