The manuscript of the date Sir Edwan cl Elgar’s last work— a / symphony 'commissioned by the British Broadcasting Corporation—was presented to the Corporation by his daughter, Mrs Blake. , 1 Sir Edward Elgar had made only slight progress with the work andi no attempt has 'been made to put the symphony into; a form suitable for performance. The manuscript will bo placed in the Corporation’s archives.— British Official Wireless.
