Opposition pastors made bitter charges against the Reich Bishop Mueller's .Nazified church government, at a congress convened by Bishop Mueller in order to enforce radical changes in the constitution.. Two Wurtemburg pastors protested against the wrongful legalisation of Bishop Mueller's previous acts, and the Bishop urged unity among the worshippers of the. same God. , Laws were passed with some opposition transferring legislative powers from the Federal to the New Reich Church, ordering pastors to swear allegiance to Hitler, legalising the church administration's past acts and abolishing the pacts. The meeting closed with three cheers for Hitler.— "Times" Cable.
