MURDERED WOMAN.
INQUEST TO BE RESUMED. (Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, August- 9. The adjourned* inquest into the death of Christobel Lakey, which was opened at Huntly on October' 16, is to be resumed to-morrow. On that occasion evidence of ' identification was taken, and the inquest was adjourned sine die. Mrs Lakey and her husband, Samuel Lakey, were murdered on their farm at Ruawaro cri October 15. It has been decided by the SolicitorGeneral that it ,vill not be necessary to hold an inquest into the death of Samuel Lakey.
