ROAD BOARD.
THE COLDSTREAM DISTRICT. The Coldstream Road Board met yesterday, members present being Messrs G. Tait (chairman), J. W. Dell, J. C. Guinness, and W. McKeage. The chairman made reference to the late Colonel J. Studholme, who in the early days was closely associated with the Board, and who always took a keen interest in its activities. A motion of sympathy with the relatives was carried in silence, all members standing. The certified balancer-sheet for the year ending March 31 was received from the Auditor-General. At the close of the meeting an inspection of some of the district roads was made, and it was resolved to complete the inspection on a later date. -
