FEDERAL LOAN.
THE LOWEST TERMS ON RECORD. (United Press Association—Copyright). CANBERRA, May 30. The Prime Minister (Mr J. A. Lyons) announced that the new internal loan of £12,000,000 would be opened next Tuesday, ,'and would close not later than June 11. The rate of interest would be 3& per cent., and the issue price £9B 10s. The loan would be repaid at par in 14 years. The average yield investor would be £3 7s 8d per cent.
These terms are the lowest on which a new Commonwealth internal loan has ever been offered.
