STRICKLAND OUTPOINTS NICOL, INVERCARGILL, May 30. A 15-round professional boxing contest between Maurice Strickland <l2st 91b), of Wellington, and Ray Nicol (12st lib), of Ohai, was won by Strickland on points. NicoFs punches lacked sting, whereas Strickland landed some telling blows.
