Hyland, of Ashburton, is astonishing the Christchurch people with feats of horse taming. , Renting Land.—We are assured that it is next to impossible to rent a piece of land in the Ashburton County unless the occupier enters into possession with a purchasing clause. There are several small farmers in the place anxious to rent small holdings of good agricultural land. ,' ■'
