LARWOOD’S DISABILITY. WATER ON THE KNEE. LONDON, May 28. “The News-Chronicle” says that H. Larwood has developed water on the knee and is not likely to play in tlie t ests - —. Carr says that Larwood is keen to play in the test trial but the selectors will be foolish to allow him to do so. “The News-Chronicle” says that Larwood has sent a letter to the Marylebone Cricket Club stating that 'he is unfit to play in the test trial.
YET ANOTHER CENTURY. HOBBS MAKES HIS 197TH. LONDON, May 28. In a match against Lancashire, at Manchester, the veteran Surrey batsman, J. B. Hobbs, made the 197th century of his career.
