ARMS PROBLEM.

MEETING OF THE BUREAU.

UNFLAGGING DETERMINATION. (United Press Association—Copyright). (Received This Day, 11.20 a.m.) ■ LONDON, May 28. The future of the Disarmament Conference will be determined at a meeting of the General Commission at Geneva to-morrow. The of the Bureau to-day was brief. The president (Mr Arthur Henderson), after reading a short statement, on the contents op the communications between the principal European Powers during recent months, expressed the hope that the Bureau would unanimously recommend to the General Commission that the gravity of the situation commands more than ever unflagging determination to pursue their efforts toward securing a convention in accordance with the, mandate given to the Conference. M. Barthpu (France), who was the only other speaker, supported Mr Henderson and urged that however difficult the task the Conference should not consider its work unfinished.

The speeches at the meeting tomorrow will be broadcast.—British Official Wireless.
