A STORMY VOYAGE.
THE NIAGARA FROM SYDNEY.,
HEAVY SEAS.SHIPPED; (Per Press Association). AUCKALND, May 28. The Niagara arrived at four o'clock this afternoon, nine hours late, after what was described by an officer as the roughest Tasman crossing in the eight years since he had joined the ship. The vessel met winds of [ gale force head on outside Sydney Heads, which continued until the early hours of this morning. Heavy seas were taken aboard continually over the forecastle, only minor damage, the worst being a-bent ventilator, being done. Nobody "was hurt though many of the ninety passengers were confined to their cabins until to-day. Southern mails were laded for to-night's express. Sir Philip Game was aboard, with Lady Game and their two children, €u route to England. They were met by Lord Bledisloe's aide de camp and were conducted to Government House. In view of her late arrival the time of the Niagara's departure for Vancouver to-morrow has been delayed from 1.1 a.m. until 3 p.m. ;
