FROZEN MEAT TRADE.

PRODUCERS' BOARD REPORT. The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board has received the following cablegram from its London office, dated May 25, advising that the following are the approximate average prices realised for the week, based on actual transactions of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of meat mentioned, and are for representative parcels of the goods offering during the week, being for business done on the basis of delivered to Smithfield Market and (or) ex London stores.

Frozen Mutton.—Crossbred wethers and maiden ewes—Canterbury and North Island selected—4B-561b 641 b 4£d, 65-721 b 4id. New Zealand porker pigs—Firm, owing to short spot stocks, but demand falling off, as usual for the time ot ye ?few Zealander baconer pigs—Market steady and unchanged.

DAIRY PRODUCE. OVERSEAS QUOTATIONS. The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has received the following market report from its London office, dated May 25: Butter. New Zealand—Salted 775, 78s (last week 78s, 795, last year' 77s 795), united 80s - (78s _, 79s S2s), deliveries 1290 tons (1060 tons, 1362); in store 10,563 (9291, 9400). The price for salted equals approximately 8.94 d fo.b. The market is firm and' retail prices are . unchanged at New Zealand lOd, Danish lid Australian (salted and unsalted) lbs Danish 67s f.0.b., 88s spot. . PRICE OF AUSTRALIAN. WELLINGTON, May 26. The prices at which Australian butter may be sold for forward shipment to the United Kingdom during the coming week have been fixed at y 4 d and 9d.
