WAR PILGRIMAGE.
SOUTH AFRICAN EX-SERVICEMEN
WESTERN FRONT BATTLEFIELDS (United Press Association—Copyright). (Received This Day, 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, May 26. A pilgrimage of' ex-service men from South Africa to the battlefields on the Western Front will take place early next month. The ex-service men and their relatives are due to arrive at Southampton on Monday, June 4, and several ceremonies have been arranged by the British Empire Service League and the British Legion, working in cooperation. The King will- receive the pilgrimage at Buckingham Palace on Friday, June 8, and later the same day a reception will be held by the High Commissioner for South Africa in London. . The party will travel to Belgium on Saturday, June 9, and after visiting Ypres will go to Arras, thence to the South African national memorial at Delville Wood. They will afterwards go to Paris and Brussels.—British Official Wirelessi,
