ALLUVIAL TIN (AUSTRALIA). INTERNATIONAL CONTROL. "T (United Press Association —Copyright). (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Control of Alluvial Tin (Australia), Limited, a group of tin-dredging companies, has . passed from Sydney to international interests. The companies, of which there are 11, were formed in Sydney and have ,a capital of 'more than £3,000,000. They constitute an important producing group in federated Malay States, which supplies output of tin. It is understood that overseas interests have obtained the necessaiy shareholdings in these companies, by large purchases in tho open market m both Sydney and Malaya during the last few months, as well as by private treaty. The change will not- aftect the position of individual shareholders in Australia or the Dominion, though a wider market for shares will he established The organisations behind the move are the London Tin Corporation Limited, British Tin and Investment Corporation Limited, Anglo-Oriental Malaya Limited and Austral Metals Limited, with which is associated the British-American Tin Corporation.
