EMPIRE DAY.
OBSERVANCE IN SCHOOLS. NEW ZEALAND PRODUCE SHOWN (United Press Association —Copyright). LONDON, May 24. Despite the Socialists’ preference for the term “British Commonwealth” a large number of schools .retained the title Empire Day for the celebrations. Empire Day was observed with usual ceremonies. New Zealand displayed her products, in four West End stores and 100 suburban shops.
