Three geologists who since September 1932, have been conducting a survey of oil possibilities in this district, will leave Auckland on June 2 on their return to the United States. Dr. Jablinski, the leader of the held party, emphasised that field work could only determine certain factors in regard to the possible production oi oil The real test would come when the conclusions of the field party were placed before scientists higher up, who would make the final decision.
