COUNTRY AND AUSTRALIAN. (United Press Association— Copyright). CANBERRA, May 21. The Prime Minister (Mr J. A. Lyons) said that the United Australia Party would strongly endorse the pro-: posal of Dr. Earl Page (leader of the Country Party) that preferences be exchanged by the United Country Party and United Australia Party if there were triangular contests at the forthcoming Federal election.
