Georges d\i PartCjS, in his book, "Secrets of the French Police." The writer states that' the Prince was spending a holiday at Le Toqnet and drove to the Casino one evening, leaving later in a friend's car to attend a private dance. The Prince instructed his chauffeur to garage his own car, and the chauffeur had gone about 1000 yards when the front wheels flew off and the car crashed into a wall.
