(From Our Own Correspondents.) METHVEN. There was a large attendance at the fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Methven Lodge, M.U., 1.0.0. F., No. 7620, over which Bro. A. L. Mangin presided. Sick Pay amounting to £8 in favour of four members was granted. Correspondence was received from the Ashburton Power Board about the loans conversion. It was decided to refer the matter to the district officers. The district secretary advised that district officers would 1 liold a past grands’ lodge at Tinwald on March 3 to confer the purple degrees. District lodge also advised that the district conference would be held on March 24. Bros. F. G. Mangin, A. L, Mangin, and T. Gray were nominated as the lodge’s representatives on the district management committee. One proposal was received for membership.

HINDS. The fortnightly meeting of Loyal Hind's Lodge, 1.0.0.F.M.U., was held on Saturday, the N.G., Bro. H. G. Aitken, presiding over a good attendance. Wet weather prevailed again ever the week-end. After a dull and cvercnt, day on Saturday, rain set in about 7 p.m. and continued throng lgut ti.e night, and on Sunday. This morning was again wet.
