JAPAN’S NAVAL NEED.
NOTICE SERVED ON POWERS. i (United Press Association—Copyright). TOKIO, January 27. Replying to interpellations in the Diet, the Minister for the Navy said that Japan intended to serve notice on the Powers, within the year, demanding a change in the ratios of the Washington, and London Treaties. It was considered that parity was necessary for purposes of defence.
