FAILURE OF DEFENCE ATTORNEY.

CHICAGO, Jan. 27. In face of seven hours’ slashing crossrexamination by the defence attorneys. Factor was unshaken in his 'identification of Tuohy and his associates, as his kidnappers. The defence attempted to impair Factor’s credibility, as a witness, by reviewing much of his record, and by trying to draw the conclusion that-his prosecution and kidnapping charge against Tuohy, was part of a plan to forestall his extradition to England, which ha-s already been ordered.
