SUSPENSION OF THE SENATE. AMBITIONS OP A LEADER, (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.35 a.m.) BERLIN, January 28. Dr. Mueller has suspended Herr Niomoller for his, failure to suppress disloyalty to Mueller. With Captain Goering’s aid, Mueller is determined to dominate the Prussian Churcn. He has suspended the Church Senate and also dissentient pastors, and his deprived Niemoller, of his pastorate. Mueller rules 19,000,000 German Protestants. Nazi Church leaders have announced their determination to support him.
A WARNING ISSUED. HITLER WILL INTERVENE. BERLIN, Jan. 27. The Chancellor, ' Herr Adolf Hitler, has warned the leaders of the opposing parties in the Evangelical Church that unless a speedy settlement of their differences is reached, the State will stop the Church’s financial supplies.
THE FINAL BLOW. CATHOLIC PROPERTY TAKEN. (Received This Day, 1.35 p.m.) FRANKFORT, Jan. 28. Entire property and funds of the People’s Union for a Catholic Germany at Munchen-Gladbach, has been confiscated by the Prussian State. This is the final blow to the world’s strongest Catholic organisation.
