SOUTH OTAGO FREEZING CO. DIVIDEND OF 8 PER CENT. DUNEDIN, September 14. At a meeting of directors of the South Otago Freezing Company it was decided to recommend to shareholders payment of a dividend of 8 per cent. Last year the dividend was 7 per cent. COMMONWEALTH BANK. HALF-YEARLY PROFIT FALLS.
SYDNEY, September 14. The Commonwealth Bank's halfyearly profits were £861,083, compared with £1,426,734 in the first half of last 1 year.
