GOLF.
ASHBURTON WOMEN'S CLUB. A bogey match was played by members of the women's section of the Ashburton Golf Club yesterday afternoon. Mrs L. J. Watt and Mrs J. Sinclair each finished with a score of six down, and taking the score over the last nine holes, Mrs Sinclair was declared the winner. THE ASHBURTON CLUB. The following golf teams will play for Ashburton against Rakaia and Methven at Ashburton during the week-end:— Against Rakaia —Miss Millichamp, Miss Bonnington, Mrs E. B. Condell, Miss A. Madden, Miss T. Cowan, Mrs J. Bathgate, V. W. Russell, I. M. Hamilton, G. B. Williams, D. A. Lawson, J. W. Keig, C. Moller, J. Rooney and F. P. Fogarty.
Against Methven—R. McGregor, R. H. Clark, R. W. Orr, J. Sinclair, H. A. Vezey, W. H. Amos, M. Macmillan, C. B. Gass, T. W. R Gudsell and D. Miller.
