PROSPECTS FOR WOOL

MAINTENANCE OF PRICES. THE REAL TEST NEXT TUESDAY. YORKSHIRE VIEW OF SALES. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.35 a.m.) LONDON, September 12. The "Yorkshire Observer" says that the real test of wool values will come at the opening of the London wool sales next Tuesday. It is confidently predicted that prices will- follow those in Australia. Apparently there is no surplus of the finer qualities of raw material. Traders on the Bradford market feel that lower prices are improbable before the end of 1933, ono believing that if consumption is maintained at the present high level values will contiuue well into 1934. The total available for next week's sales is 189,000 bales, including new arrivals of Australian 47,600, and New Zealand 74,700. It is expected that about 175,000 will be catalogued.
