MAJESTIC THEATRE. Clark Gable is starred and .Carole Lonibard and Dorothy Mackaill are featured in Paramount’s “No Man of Her Own,” which will be shown at the Majestic Theatre to-night and tomorrow' night. The story deals with the career of a big-time gambler and card-sharp, who operates among millionaires. With. Dorothy Mackaill asa decoy aud Grant Mitchell and Paul Ellis as assistants, Clark lures his victims into poker games and trims them easily. , Trouble enters the partnership, however, when Gable tires- of Dorothy, who is in love with him. When he deserts her, she threatens to go to the District Attorney, and Gable, with Detective J. Farrell MacDonald too hot on his trail, decides to leave. The climax is a fast-paced one. “THE EISTEDDFOD.” The Eisteddfod, in aid of Sunday school work in the Waterton district, will be held in the Waterton Hall on Saturday. A comprehensive programme of competitions has been drawn up and vocal, instrumental and elocutionary classes are included, as well as' sections for penmanship and cookery. The bazaar will be opened in the afternoon by the patron (Mrs J. H. Grigg) and in the evening a sale of work will be conducted. Mrs H. J. Chapman has been appointed adjudicator for the competitions in the afternoon and the prize-winners will give their items in the evening.
