BOXING.
WRIGHT BEATEN ON POINTS. CHRISTCHURCH, August 9. Len Knuckey, of Hastings, beat George Wright, of Christchurch, holder of the New Zealand bantam-weight professional championship, in a professional boxing contest to-night. The bout was meant to be for the title, but Knuckey forfeited the right by weighing in lib over weight limit of 8.6. The margin of points in Knuckey's favour was small.
