The Minister of Education has decreed that .school children throughout Prussia must daily greet their teachers in the manner of the Hitler salute, which already operates for all railwaymen, postmen, civil servants and police when they meet a superior. “ESCORTED” TO A CAMP. “EXCESSIVE SALARIES” TAKEN. (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) BERLIN, August S. Fritzs Ebert (son of the first President of the Republic) who was arrested on July 7 and subsequently released, has been re-arrested in company with a Socialist, ex-,Deputy Heibmann, and the Socialist leader, Kuenstler. All three have been sent to a concentration camp at Qrnamienburg as “seducers of the people.” ' Alfred Braun, an ex-broadcast announcer, and four colleagues, have been escorted to Oranienburg because they received “excessive salaries under Marxism.” Bredon (ex- Secretary of State and founder of the German broadcasting), when he heard of the arrests, telegraphed to Captain Goering begging that lie he treated similarly because ho did ,not want to leave in the lurch subordinates who had done great: service for broadcastine. THE NAZI AUXILIARY POLICE. NO LONGER NECESSARY. (Received This Day, 9.10 a.m.) BERLIN,, August S. Captain Goering (Chief of the Prussian Police) announces ’that he is dissolving the Nazi auxiliary police as they have fulfilled the purpose of their formation.
