FATAL FALL ON SHIP.
DEATH OF MAKURA’S DOCTOR. (United Press Ansociation—Copyright). SYDNEY, August 8. Dr. Gerald Samuelscn. ship’s doctor on hoard the Makura, died yesterday from the effects of injuries received last Wednesday when he slipped on the deck of that vessel and fell twenty leet into the chain locker. .. He was the doctor of the ill-fated Tahiti and was rescued before the vessel sank. During the war he had charge of the hospital ship Stadt Antwerpen, which was the King of Belgium s yacht before the war. He had practised in many parts oi New South V ales.
