WOMAN FATALLY BURNED. BENZINE-SATURATED CLOTHES. A MIDNIGHT TRAGEDY. (Per Press Association). ROTORUA, This Day. Mrs Ivy Munro was found by her husband enveloped in flames in her home shortly after 12 o’clock last night. Her clothes were saturated with benzine. Mrs Munro was admitted to the hospital in a serious condition, and died this morning. KILLED BY TRAIN. WOMAN FALLS UNDER WHEELS WELLINGTON, This Day. Mrs Caroline Ryan, aged 59, a resident of Ngahauranga, was killed under the wheels of a Petone-bound train at Ngahauranga last evening. She was in the act of boarding the train when she fell between the carriages and the train, which was moving slowly, passed over her body. The guard and stationmaster both saw a dark object fall to the rails and immediately gave the signal for the train to stop. Mrs Ryan was extricated from beneath a carriage, but death occurred five or six minutes later. Deceased leaves a husband, two tons and two daughters. INJURIES PROVE FATAL. * GORE, This Day. Thomas Albert Bradford, .aged 21, a single farmhand, of Freshford. who had his spine fractured recently through being caught by a falling tree, succumbed in the Gore Hospital.
