CYCLING.
CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS. NEW PLYMOUTH, April 9. The two miles and the half-mile New Zealand' championship cycling events were won easily by C. Parker (Inglewood) at the Waitara sports on Saturday. In the two-mile event, W. K. Weir and L. Pither, both of Christchurch, were second and third respectively. The placings in the half-mile pere: Parker 1, Weir 2, Bushe (Inglewood) 3.
