Mr J. T. iPVatloy (president of the South Canterbury Area of the ( NoLicense Council) and the Rev. G. (D. Verco (secretary) visited Timaru yesterday to attend a meeting of the council. .Major-General W. L. H. SinclairBurgess, C. 8., D. 5.0., C.M.G. ((Officer. Commanding the New Zealand Forces) was a passenger on the south-bound express train this morning. He travelled to Cave, South Canterbury, to inspect the Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry camp, which is being held there.
