A special meeting of the Rakaia Golf Club was held on Monday to consider the offer made by Mr Joseph Langley for new grounds for links. The Grounds Committee reported favourably on the the new area, and it was decided to accept the offer. A vote of thanks was accorded Mr Langley. The season will be opened on the new links at 'Acton," on Saturday, when all present and intending members will be the guests of Mr L. 0. Oakley (president of the club).
