CORSICAN VENDETTA.
AGED MAN WOUNDED. HOTEL SENSATION AT NTCE. NICE, October 17. The sequel to a. Corsican blood vendetta occurred in a bar at Nice to-day, when a young man fired five shots at a 72 years old Corsican. The victim of the fracas had been acquitted in 1022 on a charg6 of murdering the young man’s father. The son. in 1022, took an oath of vengeance against his father’s supposed attacker, and. meeting him nee-idem tally to-day in an hotel, returned to his lodgings for a- revolver. The old man was Wounded, and is in a serious condition. The young attacker was chased and captured. In his possession was a paper containing the story of the trial in 1922.
