MIRAMAR WOMEN'S TOURNEY, WELLINGTON, October 27. The Miramar women's golf tournament was concluded to-day. In the semi-finals of the open event Mrs Blain (Wellington) beat Miss Gambriel (Miramar), 5 and 3; and Mrs Ferguson (Auckland) beat Mrs Partridge (Hutt), 4 and 2. In the final Mrs Ferguson beat Mrs Blain, 1 up. Both players were in form, Mrs Blain going out in 40 to Mrs Ferguson's 42, to stand 2 up at the turn. Mrs Ferguson came home in 42 to Mrs Blain's 45.

THE ASHBURTON CLUB. The lady members of the Ash burton Golf Club played a flag match yesterday afternoon. Mrs J. Bathgate was the winner, carrying the flag to the eighteenth green. THE RAKAIA CLUB. The official closing of the Rakaia Golf Club will take place to-morrow, when trophies won during the year will be presented.
