Asked in the House of Commons whether he would make a statement as to the relations existing between the British Government and the present Government of Egypt and whether the latter is one with which relations may be developed in the direction of a settlement of the outstanding questions, (the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (Captain R. A. Eden) stated.that he was happy to say that relations with the Egyptian Government were entirely friendly. The British Government made no reservations in regard to the present Egyptian Administration as one with which AngloEgyptian relations both had been., and may continue, to be developed at a time and in a manner which may appear most suitable for the purpose British Official'Wireless
