SOLICITOR ARRESTED.
THEFT OF MONEY ALLEGED. (Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, Oct. 26. Matthew Prust Stewart, aged 37, a solicitor, was arrested this morning on a charge, of stealing £IOO, the property of F. C. Litchfield, on July 11, 1930. The accused was remanded to appear on November 10, bail being allowed. The police said that the accused himself estimated bis defalcations at £I6OO or £I7OO.
